Release Blitz Never Let You Fall by Michele G. Miller

A special Excerpt just for you...

“What do you feel?  Anything strange?”

She flung her hands up in the air as she answered me. “Yes, I feel something strange!  This whole thing is strange!”

Placing my finger on her lips, I shook my head in frustration.  “Skye, what do you feel here?” I asked again, pointing to her chest.  “How do you feel?”

She stood for a moment with her lips lightly pressed to my finger, slowly closing and reopening her eyes.  There was a sheen to them that spoke of unshed tears, and as she raised her hand to pull mine away from her mouth, I saw her fingers tremble when  she whispered, “I can’t deal with this, Xander.”

“Yes, Skye - you can and you will,” I warned her.  “This is going to happen whether you want it to or not.  I told you that I’m safe, and I…”

Skye broke into hysterical laughter at that.  “Safe?  You’re telling me that a legion of demons is after me and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.   How in your book does that equal safe?”

“You don’t know me, Skye, and you don’t know Rioden and… what we can do.  I told you that I would protect you, and I will.”

Shaking her head, she took a small step back and admitted, “You’re right about one thing, Xander,” as she wiped a tear from her face.  “I don’t know you, so how can I trust you?  No matter how you make me feel.  Please just leave me alone.”  She spun on her heel and sprinted away, leaving me to stare after her.

About the Author

Having grown up in both the cold, quiet town of Topsham, Maine and the steamy, southern hospitality of Mobile, Alabama, Michele is something of a enigma.  She is an avid Yankees fan, loves New England, being outdoors and misses snow.  However she thinks southern boys are hotter, Alabama football is the only REAL football out there and sweet tea is the best thing this side of heaven and her children’s laughter!

Her family, a doting husband and three awesome  minions  have planted their roots in the middle of Michele’s two childhood homes in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Never Let You Fall is Michele’s first novel and she is beyond thrilled to have finally followed up on a dream she has held for over 20 years!  God willing there will be many many more books to follow.

Always Remember by Emma Hart (Cover Reveal)

EEEEE!!!!!!
Okay, shouty excitement over. For now!
The lovely and superbly talented, Emma Hart has a cover to share with us!!!!

*sigh* I love that. And super excited for more Mr. Pink Boxers ;)

Here's the blurb!

Blurb:
How long does it take for a long-distance relationship to break down? Sixteen months.
When Jen and Carl put their relationship to rest after Christmas, Jen’s biggest problem is going back to London ten days earlier than planned – and her ever-present attraction to Samuel ‘Bing’ Edwards.
Bing has no idea why Jen left Devon so fast. All he knows is that he wants her as much as he did the first day he laid eyes on her – so spending time with her while Lexy is still in Devon isn’t exactly a hardship for him. When he finds out she’s single, the only thing on his mind is finishing what they started at his dad’s fiftieth birthday party.
Feelings that have been a long time building between the two explode, and they both find themselves sucked into an easy yet passionate relationship, with Bing determined to prove to Jen that she’s it for him. That she is The One.
But in a city like London, the odds are stacked against them, and there’s always that one person ready to stir things up… And Jen doesn’t know how much of that she can take – even for the guy she loves more deeply than she ever imagined, and eventually she breaks.
Bing isn’t down with that. He wants Jen, and he wants her by his side for good.
Jennifer Mason must learn that Samuel Edwards doesn’t do giving up. Especially not when his forever girl is involved.

Oh.... Did I not mention I have a teensy wittle snippet to share with you too? Hehe. Here it is!

Excerpt:
JEN

He chuckles low, and I suppress the shiver that’s threatening to run through my body. His hand closes around mine, and he pries the hairspray from my grip. His fingers slip between mine, his palm hot. My eyes flick to our hands and how dainty mine looks encompassed in his.
His other hand rises to my face, his thumb tracing down my cheek to the dent below my ear. It ghosts along my jaw, tracing the shape of it, and finally settles on my lower lip. He tugs it from between my teeth gently, and the pad of his thumb strokes across it.
My eyes rise to his, our faces inches from each other.
“You know it’s you, don’t you?” he says softly, uncertainly.
I nod silently, unable to form any words.
“I mean it, Jen.” He cups the side of my face. “Whatever she tries to say, it’s all lies. Even if she hasn’t said it yet, I can tell you it’s a lie.” He dips his face towards me, resting his nose alongside mine. I let my eyes flutter shut, feeling the realness in the moment.
“I know,” I whisper. “But that doesn’t mean-”
“Don’t. Say. It,” he orders in a hushed voice. “I just got you, Jen. I waited for too long to have you, but I do now, and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna let her get in between us. I told you, didn’t I? I told you that if anyone doubts us, if you ever doubt us, to come to me.”
“Yes.”
“Then do it. Come to me, babe. Don’t let her get under your skin. She’s nothing to me. She never was anything. Not like you.”
I run my free hand along his arm until it rests on his hand cupping my cheek. “What am I, Sam?”
“Everything, Jen. You are everything. Don’t ever doubt that.”

Entrelacen Review

Life isn’t always easy.

And it certainly isn’t easy for April or Logan.

I am lucky enough to be friends with Dani and her and I have had numerous talks and share sessions of this story. She’s done a fantastic job of taking a bit of truth and twisting it, turning it, forming it into a life of its own.

I laughed, I swooned, and I cried. I don’t want to gush about how much the story affects me or how much I love the author, so I’m shutting up about that.

April.

She’s honest and shy, fun and caring. She had a crap upbringing but made the best of it and turned out better and stronger for it.

She becomes an adoptive mom. Being a stepmother myself, I LOVE THAT (and Dani, because she is too!). It’s no where near an easy job, being a parent of any kind is tough as hell but rewarding in so many ways.

Magic is her. She is magic.

Logan.

He’s troubled, he’s swoonworthy, and he’s exactly right for April. He doesn't come without his own struggles and baggage, either.

When these two get together, and get it right (it takes them a while and it’s not entirely their fault), they’re amazing.

I think you should read it, not just because my friend wrote it, but because it’s a fantastic story. Love, hope, fear – it’s almost real. It’ll definitely keep your attention. <3

Stages Of Grace by Carey Heywood (Blog Tour)

I know this girl named Carey, we talk about all sorts of things. From our love of sweedish fish to our book hugging habits.

Author Bio:
Carey Heywood lives in Richmond, Viginia with her husband, three children and nine-pound attack Yorkie. In her spare time, she transports her children from one extra-curricular activity to another while maintaining her day job in the world of finance. Right now, she is probably eating Swedish Fish.

I’ve got an excerpt and interview to share with you! EEEE!!!

We'll start with the interview!

Hi Carey! Welcome! It’s so nice to finally have you here!

Hey Rachel!!!
Thank you so so much for having me on your blog :)

So, first question. I know Swedish Fish is your first choice for snacks, is that the only snack you write with?

When I'm writing I usually don't snack that much but I always have fizzy water on hand...or rum...

I LOVE LOVE music, do you create playlists accordingly with your Works In Progress?

I do! The playlist for Stages of Grace is going to be featured onhttp://letsgetnerdy.blogspot.com/ One song from it is Hunter by Dido.

Can you recall what you were doing when Stages Of Grace invaded your mind?

After Googling ways to deal with grief for a friend who had recently lost someone I noticed that the emotions for dealing with the death of a loved can be the same as the death of a relationship.

Do you have a favorite scene in Stages Of Grace?

My favorite scene is when Grace and Ryan go out on the jet ski.
Ohhhh… loved that scene too!!

What's your inspiration to keep writing?

I still feel like I have something to say.

Do you write with visual aids? Music? Total silence?

Background noise is okay, but I prefer silence when I write.

If you didn't have a day job, what would your writing schedule look like?

I'm not sure. I've become accustomed to writing at night. I had a week off recently, I thought I could write all day. Not so much.

What is your absolute dream writing atmosphere, anywhere?

I'd love to be near water. Maybe on a lake or river, sitting in a comfy chair on a screened in porch.

How did you come up with the names for your characters?

The structure of this book was inspired by the stages of grief. I thought Grace would be flow well, plus it's my daughter's middle name. Otherwise I just pick random names I like.

Releasing your book baby is exciting and terrifying. What is something you do to keep calm?

I'm not sure I'm that calm. Nope, not really calm at all. I think I'll feel nauseous for the next couple of weeks. I'm willing to listen to any ideas...

Yea, I’ve got nothing in that department.

Can you tell us about anything you're working on currently?

My next WIP is called Him and is with my editor right now. It's about a girl named Sarah and the boy she's been trying to forget since high school. I'm currently writing another novel called Better.

Last question! ;) When are we making our Swedish Fish Lovers clothing line? Haha!

Soon! Very soon! Lol! <3

Thank you Carey!

Here’s a little something for you, just to get a taste of the awesomeness!
Excerpt-

I lean up against a wall and fidget as I watch passengers filing out in all directions. I try to look at every face as they pass, but there are way more of them than there are of me. Ryan sees me first.
"Hullo!"
I look around, trying to place where his greeting is coming from when he's suddenly right in front of me, pulling me into a hug.
"Well, you're a sight for sore eyes."
I laugh. "Long flight?
Ryan nods, not letting me go. I swat him on the arm. "Can I take you out for a burger?"
He just nods and grins down at me. Ryan only has a small duffle bag so we head straight to my car. Before we get outside, I stop him to see if he’s brought a hat. He hasn’t and is touched when I pull out a beanie for him. Once he has it on, I have to admit it looks pretty good on him. Seeing Ryan's reaction to the cold, I hurry to my car and get the heater going.
"Grace, why does my ass feel like it’s burning?"
"Oh, sorry. I turned on the seat heaters." I reach over to switch his to low.
"Next time warn a fella."
"Will do" I laugh, trying not to think about his ass.
"So where're you taking me?"
"To Swensons. Awesome burger, but it’s a drive in. Do you want to eat there or bring the food back to my place?"
"Can we take it back to your place?"
Once we have our food, I drive home. It’s weird to think that after tomorrow I won't be able to call it that anymore. I warn him to watch his step on the way up the stairs. Ryan does fine. I slip twice. Damn stairs. Once inside, I give him a quick tour: pile of stuff, empty room, empty room, air mattress, kitchen, and bathroom. Ryan laughs at my descriptions, and after setting his bag down, goes to the bathroom. I unpack our food onto the kitchen counter, grab a roll of paper towels, and make a picnic for us in front of the TV. I am switching on the news to get the next day's weather when Ryan walks out.
He pulls off his beanie as he walks into the front room, making his hair go crazy. He looks at me in confusion as I bring my hand up to my mouth to keep from laughing. Walking over I finger comb his hair back down as he looks down at me. Whoa. I take a step back, almost knocking over my drink to put some space back between us. Ryan notices my reaction and gives me a half smile as he sits down to eat.

Holding On by Emma Hart Review

Emma has yet ANOTHER book out! Well actually it's her FIRST novella! Holding On

Living in London after spending almost twenty years in a town with a population of three hundred would be hard on anyone – and Alec Johnson is no exception to the rule.
When Alec followed Lexy to London, he knew his life would change drastically. He just didn’t know how much. With Lexy’s friends and admirer to contend with, he has to show there’s more to the country surfer boy than is ability to ride the waves. With his own shameless admirers, he has to keep Lexy’s trust – and despite her love for him, that’s no easy task.

Beneath her tough girl exterior, all Jennifer Mason has ever wanted to do is paint. London’s School of Art can give her that, and she couldn’t be happier she’s finally breaking free from Lilac Bay. What she’s not happy about is having to leave Carl behind – or his reluctance to visit her while she’s studying.
Their relationship is put to the test as living on her own for the first time and university take their toll on Jen. After all, three hundred miles is a long way to be away from your boyfriend when you’re eighteen years old.
And it’s even harder when you can’t keep your eyes off your best friend’s older brother.

Purchase at Amazon today!

Here's my review!

Holding On… That’s exactly what I’m doing.

No really.

After you read it you’ll feel the SAME way!

Don’t take the above statement and shy away. You’ll love this novella! It’s a quick and easy read that will definitely leave you wanting more.

I’ve told Emma from the very beginning, “I need more Alec!” It’s absolutely true. Alec is wonderful, Lexy is a doll, Bing is… Well Bing is just Bing, and Jen is HILARIOUS!

You’ll definitely burst out laughing at least once, okay, maybe more.

Must Read, skip adding it to a list, just get it – a few hours max, depending on how fast you read.
